Terms and Conditions for StudySync Africa

Welcome to StudySync Africa! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application, website (studysync.africa), and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). By accessing or using StudySync Africa, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using StudySync Africa, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. Use of the Platform

a) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or have the consent of a parent, guardian, or authorized school administrator.

b) Account Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

c) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

  • Upload, share, or transmit harmful or inappropriate content.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or StudySync Africa’s systems.

3. Services

StudySync Africa provides tools to help schools manage administrative tasks, including attendance tracking, fee management, communication, and reporting.

  • Some features may require payment (see Section 5).

  • Features may vary based on subscription plans.

4. User Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring any data you upload complies with applicable data protection laws (e.g., consent for student data).

5. Payment and Subscription

  • Some services are provided on a subscription basis.

  • Subscription fees are billed as specified in the chosen plan.

  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access.

  • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content and materials on StudySync Africa, including logos, designs, and software, are the property of StudySync Africa and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without prior written consent.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StudySync Africa if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms the Platform or other users.

8. Limitation of Liability

StudySync Africa is provided “as is” and “as available.”

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudySync Africa is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Platform.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Changes will take effect upon posting to studysync.africa. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
